The System Unit of the OPO

The Outfit Picked Outer (OPO) is the newest technology perfect for people who love to look great and save time. The OPO's main functions include:
  • Stores your entire wardrobe in its' memory
  • Puts together an outfit based on your wardrobe and the specific occasion that you choose for the day
  • Offers a variety of color options for every outfit that it creates
  • Offers surveys and quizzes in order to get to know your style better and create outfits that you will better enjoy
While the OPO is called a robot, it will be put together similarly to a computer. It will include many of the same parts that make up the system unit in a regular PC. It will have the same amount of RAM that a PC would have, around 6-8 GB. The OPO not only stores the memory of your wardrobe but also connects you to the internet to share your outfits with other users and therefore will need more RAM than the most basic computer. It would need to have memory cache to speed up the processes of the OPO because it stores frequently used instructions and data.

The OPO would have USB ports so that you could connect it to other devices to make sharing information among them easier. For example, it would be simple to connect your smart phone to the OPO to share an outfit on your Facebook or twitter page. The OPO would also obviously need to have a main processor with a control unit to direct and coordinate the operations on the OPO and an arithmetic logic unit to compute arithmetic comparison and algorithms.
